Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming to ensure dignity and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor client health status.
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to reduce isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and vacuuming, to maintain a safe environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting and assisting patients.
