Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve the quality of life.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
- Handle light housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CPR and First Aid Certification required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in home health or caregiving is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Passion for helping seniors and the elderly.
