Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Companionship: Build meaningful relationships and provide emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Vital Monitoring: Track and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification is required.
- Experience: Prior experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathy: A genuine, compassionate demeanor and the ability to handle sensitive situations with care.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
