Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean environment.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervisor immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community events.
- Ensure the safety and security of the client at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Previous experience as a CNA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Attendant is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs safely.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
