Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and walking to ensure maximum safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal planning.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
- Offer meaningful companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Document daily care activities and observations accurately in client records.
Qualifications
- Current California CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification (or willing to obtain).
- Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (required for home visits).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Experience in home care or healthcare is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
