Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone to determine appropriate level of care.
- Provide expert medical advice, treatment plans, and referrals.
- Document all patient interactions and triage outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Follow up with patients to ensure compliance with treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license in the state of Nebraska (or willingness to relocate).
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinical or triage setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to de-escalate anxious patients.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
