Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure the safety and comfort of clients.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and help manage daily schedules.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team and family members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- CPR and Basic First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a detail-oriented approach to care.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
