Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers, ensuring patient safety and proper documentation.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records, charts, and patient documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, infection control measures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Oregon.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in the relevant specialty (e.g., Med-Surg, ICU, Telemetry, ER).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to new environments and healthcare teams.
- Professional demeanor and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Completion of new hire health screenings and immunizations as required by facility policy.
