Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography (X-ray) and CB imaging systems
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory setups
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on clinic protocols
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Coordinate patient flow between hygiene and restorative departments
- Assist with treatment planning documentation in Dentrix/Eaglesoft
Qualifications
- Current California RDA license and X-ray certification
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (must maintain current)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance
