Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery, restorations, and orthodontics
- Perform chairside duties: instrument sterilization, tray setup, and four-handed dentistry
- Manage digital imaging and intraoral scanning using advanced equipment
- Administer patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and infection control protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative tasks
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA required)
- 2+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent communication skills and patient rapport abilities
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid California driver's license
