Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and maintain exam rooms
- Administer injections and perform EKGs under physician supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Coordinate patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Handle front desk duties including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Tennessee state license in good standing
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
