Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatment preparations
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and equipment sterilization
- Facilitate patient communication with healthcare team members
- Support patient education on care plans and recovery protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
