Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor vital signs and document resident conditions accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support social engagement activities to enhance resident wellbeing
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe environments following infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate approach with geriatric populations
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Background clearance and health screening required
