Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist registered nurses and physicians with medical procedures, treatments, and patient examinations.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and medical emergencies within the facility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for all patients and visitors.
- Document patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Illinois CNA License required.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association) must be up to date.
- Strong knowledge of basic medical terminology and patient care procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
