Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide emotional support and updates.
- Document patient care plans, incidents, and daily progress in electronic health records.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the State of Missouri.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help patients.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move patients as needed.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
