Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintaining a clean, sanitary environment.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas using mobility aids safely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain certification through our training program).
- Current state licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Strong empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic health record (EHR) entry.
