Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist patients with mobility, including walking and transferring from bed to chair.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments as directed by nursing staff.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse or medical team immediately.
- Support the nursing team with documentation and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina CNA Certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required for entry-level roles.
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude.
