Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming with dignity and respect.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Medication Assistance: Support patients with medication reminders and document administration according to facility protocols.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient status changes to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure comfort.
- Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Massachusetts.
- CPR/BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and CPR certification are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
