Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support rehabilitation activities under therapist guidance
- Maintain clean, safe, and infection-free patient environments
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team for cohesive care planning
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate demeanor with commitment to elderly care
