Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support nurses in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated patient services
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Background check and drug screen required
