Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist with moving, positioning, and transferring patients safely using proper techniques.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
