Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
- Transport residents to and from scheduled activities, appointments, and dining areas.
- Document care plans and resident observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Current and active California CNA License required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift residents or equipment for extended periods.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
