Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities immediately.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and families regarding patient status and care plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA Certification in the state of Arizona.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting (nursing home, hospital, or home health) is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic health record (EHR) entry.
