Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and injuries.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by registered nurses and physicians.
- Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to the nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document all care activities and patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current CNA Certification (State of Wisconsin) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible shifts.
