Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs.
- Provide medication reminders and document vital signs accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a safe living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve the client's quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient demeanor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Previous experience in home care or geriatric care is highly preferred.
