Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with patient care plans.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Document patient care activities and update medical records accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA certification or proof of enrollment in an accredited nursing program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- CPR certification preferred for entry-level candidates.
