Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Assistance with ADLs: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity.
- Communication: Effectively communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents and staff.
- Emotional Support: Build rapport with residents and provide emotional support to enhance their quality of life.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Illinois.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred but not required for top candidates.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care techniques.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Genuine passion for helping others and a patient-centered approach to care.
