Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient intake/output, and behavioral changes
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatments as directed
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Support end-of-life care and emotional support for patients and families
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent acute care or long-term experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Clear background check and negative TB/flu screen
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including holidays
