Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual patient needs.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing staff and physicians immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Administer medications and perform prescribed treatments under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required and in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care, home health, or a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a focus on dignity and respect.
