Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs with precision using electronic health records
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning to prevent patient falls
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments following infection control protocols
- Support emotional well-being through active listening and empathetic communication
Qualifications
- Active Indiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent acute care or long-term experience
- CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Proficient in EHR documentation and medical terminology
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear background check and negative TB test results
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
