Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing and therapy staff.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the RN on duty.
- Help patients move from bed to wheelchair or sit up safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients.
- Document patient care services and changes in patient condition accurately.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families during their stay.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Clean background check and drug screen required.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
