Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure patient rooms and personal hygiene are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with nursing staff and patients to report changes in condition or needs.
- Assistance: Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and light housekeeping tasks as assigned.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain patient charts and care logs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Current CNA Certification in the state of Michigan is required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and current state-required background checks.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks.
