Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with personal care activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident health to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfer using proper techniques
- Support meal services and ensure residents' nutritional needs are met
- Document care activities accurately in resident charts
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Valid Texas CNA certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

- Reliable transportation to work shifts
