Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in patient health status, including vital signs, to the charge nurse or physician.
- Communication: Serve as a communication link between patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure accurate information flow.
- Assistance: Help transport patients to and from examinations, treatments, or other areas of the facility.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients, adhering to all infection control protocols.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities and any changes in condition in medical records.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Current state CNA certification required.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods; good physical stamina.
- License: Must possess a valid CNA license in the state of Nebraska.
