Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Assist the nursing staff with medication administration and wound care as directed.
  • Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse immediately.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
  • Transport patients to and from treatment areas using appropriate mobility aids.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid California State CNA License required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs).
