Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional bedside care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, fluid intake/output, and resident conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and resident needs
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Exceptional communication and empathy abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
