Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding as required.
- Monitor patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) and report any significant changes to the charge nurse.
- Assist patients with ambulation and mobility exercises safely.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current California CNA license and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
