Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any anomalies immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients at all times.
- Communicate patient updates effectively to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Assist with mobilization and transfer of patients using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred but can be obtained post-hire.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
