Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care by assessing patient needs, administering medications, and implementing care plans.
- Monitor Patient Status: Continuously monitor patients for changes in condition and respond immediately to emergencies or critical alerts.
- Collaborative Care: Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to ensure holistic patient treatment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, patient charts, and shift reports in compliance with hospital standards.
- Educate Patients & Families: Provide clear instructions and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Soft Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
