Responsibilities
- Assess patient health conditions, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based nursing interventions
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies while monitoring patient responses and documenting outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless patient care transitions
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with emerging best practices
- Lead emergency response protocols and provide critical care in high-acuity situations
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license with unrestricted privileges
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS required for ER/ICU roles)
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize complex patient needs
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC experience preferred)
