Responsibilities
- Delicate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation
- Meal preparation and feeding support for patients with special dietary needs
- Safe patient transfer and mobility assistance using proper techniques
- Medication reminders and observation per care plans
- Comprehensive charting and reporting of patient status changes
- Coordination with RNs and other care team members
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in home care or assisted living
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
