Responsibilities
- Provide daily patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Document patient observations accurately in medical records
- Support patient independence while maintaining dignity and safety
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or long-term experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexibility with shift scheduling (days/evenings available)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate approach with geriatric patients
