Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Provide mobility assistance and transfer support
- Document resident care accurately and timely
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Maintain a clean and safe resident environment
- Participate in care planning meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Texas CNA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic CPR certification (provided if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate nature with commitment to elderly care
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
