Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking safely.
- Administer medications and document patient responses accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is mandatory.
- Ability to lift and move patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
