Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding assistance, and hygiene maintenance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and transfer equipment.
- Document patient care plans, daily progress reports, and any changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and patients' families to ensure quality care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA certification (state license required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required for top candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care and dignity.
