Responsibilities
- Patient Hygiene & Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Feeding Assistance: Support patients with meal preparation and feeding as needed to ensure proper nutrition.
- Mobility Support: Help patients move safely between bed and chair or ambulate within the facility.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and care plans.
- Safety Monitoring: Observe patients for changes in physical or mental condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Florida CNA License required.
- Certification: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for Healthcare Providers is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in long-term care or home health is preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Genuine empathy and a patient-first attitude.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by patient needs.
