Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Provide direct care to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support as needed.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patients are clean, comfortable, and have access to necessary supplies.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient status and changes to the nursing staff and families.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts.
- Emergency Response: Assist in maintaining a safe environment and responding appropriately to medical emergencies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work weekends as required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
