Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and daily observations in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered CNA license in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and transfer patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
