Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to elderly and disabled clients
- Monitor and document vital signs, medication schedules, and patient conditions
- Assist with mobility transfers, ambulation, and use of adaptive equipment
- Prepare and serve meals while accommodating special dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain clean, safe client environments
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare team members
- Follow strict infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in home care or clinical setting
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for day/evening/weekend shifts
- Strong communication skills and compassionate patient approach
- Pass background check and drug screening
