Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic activities
- Administer medications under RN supervision and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop personalized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free resident environment
- Support families with clear communication and resident updates
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in senior care or assisted living setting
- CPR/BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate demeanor with commitment to elderly dignity
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Clear TB test and background check
